Sema is an effective medication for weight loss, showing significant results in clinical trials and helping individuals manage obesity when combined with lifestyle changes. 

Sema is a glucagon-like pep-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. Sema injection is also used together with diet and exercise to help lose weight and keep the weight off in patients with at least one weight-related medical condition.

The largest clinical trial studying sema in adults showed an average weight loss of about 15% of initial body weight over 68 weeks (almost 16 months).

In the first week, you can expect: Modest weight loss of 1-2kgs as the medication begins to take effect. Appetite suppression as one of the first noticeable effects.

The most common side effects are typically gastrointestinal in nature.
